At Tangent, we create immersive brand worlds. You will be responsible for taking a seed of an idea and growing it into a fully realized 3D environment, whether that’s a global retail toolkit, a high-energy pop-up activation, or a permanent brand space.

What you'll be doing:

  • Concepting & storytelling: Leading the creative charge on briefs, turning brand storytelling and audience insight into tangible spatial experiences that stop people in their tracks.
  • 3D Visualization: Creating high-end renders and technical drawings design intent drawings that communicate the "vibe" and the "how-to" with equal clarity.
  • Retail Strategy: Designing with the consumer journey in mind - understanding how humans move through space and interact with products.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with Account Managers and Creative Directors and external suppliers to ensure designs are on-brand, on-budget, and physically possible.
  • Technical Precision: Balancing blue-sky thinking with the practicalities of materials, lighting, and production.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Commercial experience in developing retail environments and experiential environments
  • Activation experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Cinema 4D, Corona Renderer (and others), Sketch Up, Photoshop and the usual programs related to creating and editing spaces
  • The ability to take projects from concepts to completion
  • The ability to balance multiple projects
  • Understanding of design principles
  • Experience of working with sport fashion brands (not essential, but nice to have)
  • An interest in how tech can enhance a retail experience.

What we offer you:

  • 24 days holiday plus all UK bank holidays
  • Christmas shutdown (Christmas Eve until 2nd January)
  • Training opportunities both within the company and via external courses
  • Predominantly office-based role with one day a week work-from-home flexibility (additional flexibility available when needed)
  • Discretionary annual bonus based on company performance
  • Regular agency socials
  • 6-monthly performance reviews
  • Annual pay review
